About Sarah
Sarah founded CatLitterSmell.com in 2025 after years of struggling with litter box odor in her own multi-cat household. As a Registered Veterinary Technician, she understood the health implications of ammonia exposure—but as a cat owner, she knew the frustration of products that promised miracles and delivered disappointment.
Her mission was simple: create a resource that cuts through marketing hype and provides evidence-based, tested advice for cat owners. No sponsored content disguised as reviews. No unverified claims. Just real solutions backed by science and experience.
Today, Sarah leads editorial operations and personally tests every major product featured on the site. She lives with her husband, three children, and four cats (Oliver, Luna, Milo, and Jasper) in Portland, Oregon.
